You can have your cake and lose weight, too!

Fact or fiction?

My favorite myth about nutrition is that to lose weight you have give up all your favorite foods. Another great one is to avoid carbs or that healthy eating is too expensive. The list goes on. At The Mind And Muscle, nutrition coaching is evidence-based. There are no good or bad foods, only delicious food. 

While calories get all the attention...

Good nutrition is more than just calories. Nutrition is the most important part of fitness because it provides the body with the energy and nutrients it needs to recover and perform any physical activity. There are many important aspects of fitness, such as strength, endurance, and flexibility. Without proper nutrition, the body cannot support its full fitness potential.
